Today, we are announcing the official conclusion of our collaboration on the project previously known as “K Tracker,” which involved the contributions of Kelly Lee, Kingsley Lau, and Jett Lai. Their dedication and efforts were invaluable, and we extend our gratitude for their work during this initiative.
Effective immediately, we will no longer use the “K Tracker” name. This decision arises not only from the discovery that the name is already associated with another existing application but also because the collaboration ended forcibly. As a result, we will not retain any rights to the “K Tracker” name. It is crucial for us to clarify that all collaborators involved in the K Tracker project no longer have access to any of its technology, content, or interfaces. This ensures that the project is fully under the management and control of Meow Tech Open Source, allowing us to pursue our vision without ambiguity.
As we transition away from the K Tracker name, we are excited to introduce “Project Arturia” (or “Project Arturia by Meow Tech Open Source”). This new project will serve as the continuation of our mission and will be entirely managed by Meow Tech Open Source. We encourage all users of the old K Tracker to make the switch to Project Arturia as soon as it becomes available.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to our dedicated testers. Your efforts in providing feedback, identifying bugs, and suggesting improvements have been invaluable. Your commitment to enhancing the user experience has not gone unnoticed, and we appreciate your contributions throughout this project. It’s important to clarify that any challenges encountered were not due to your efforts but stemmed from the circumstances surrounding the collaboration.

While the K Tracker name may be used by others, it cannot be used in conjunction with “Meow Tech Open Source.” We want to affirm that we maintain full rights to the user data and content associated with the old K Tracker. Your trust and engagement are of utmost importance to us, and we are dedicated to providing a seamless experience during this transition.
